Matt Jones
Hoare Lea has extensive experience in the heritage sector and has worked on a wide variety of projects including the Apollo Victoria Theatre, London; Birmingham Town Hall; and the Sheldonian Theatre, Oxford.
Our projects range from Grade I listed buildings such as Queen’s College, Oxford to iconic 1960s buildings, such as the famous Centre Point tower in London’s West End.
We have a keen interest in the historical context and believe that it is possible to preserve the integrity of a historic building while adding modern design, convenience and comfort. We have collaborated with and understand the values of organisations working within the historic environment, such as English Heritage and the Twentieth Century Society.
While our core service is the design of mechanical, electrical and public health engineering systems, we are also able to offer additional expertise from our specialist groups.
