Hoare Lea operates an Integrated Management System (IMS) enabling a holistic approach to the management of Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental risk. The structure and functionality of the IMS is based on the requirements of:

PAS 99:2006 - Specification of Common Management System requirements as a
framework for Integration.

The IMS Group is headed by Brian Clargo, a Full Equity Partner, and comprises working groups for quality, health and safety and environmental functions. The system is registered as compliant with the requirements of:

BS EN ISO 9001:2000 - Quality Management Systems - Requirements.
BS OHSAS 18001:2007 - Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems - Requirements.
BS EN ISO 14001:2004 - Environmental Management Systems - Requirements with Guidance for use.

Each working group comprises a full time Chairman and representatives from each Hoare Lea office. The Groups are tasked with the overall management of each auditable discipline. This includes implementation, monitoring and continual improvement, whilst maintaining registration against the appropriate standards.

The IMS is modular in structure, thus providing a framework suitable for the future incorporation of other standards, management systems or specifications such as:

ISO/IEC27001 - Information Security Management System
BS 25999 - Business Continuity Management

and the forthcoming:

ISO 26000 - Corporate Social Responsibility
