Hoare Lea recognise the impact that its activities and projects have on the environment, and acknowledges its implicit corporate responsibility for reducing this impact wherever possible.

The Practice seeks to discharge this responsibility by implementing and maintaining an Environmental Management System that meets the standards established by BS EN ISO 14001: 2004.

The system focuses on the issues most important to our business, ensuring as a minimum, legal compliance, a commitment to the prevention of pollution and continual improvement as part of the normal management cycle.

Our EMS provides a framework to identify, prioritise and manage the Firm's significant environmental impacts, which form part of our normal business activities, products and services.

The Environmental Working Group is responsible for ensuring that environmental procedures are implemented consistently and are regularly reviewed to reflect the current requirements of legislation and of the Practice.
