I gained a MEng in Industrial Engineering at University of Surrey and joined Hoare Lea's Poole office in 1999 as a graduate engineer. I was promoted to associate in 2005 and at the age of 31, became a partner of the firm.

I enjoy being strongly involved at the brief and concept design stages to maximise the effectiveness of a project's design, and determine the feasibility of low and zero carbon technologies. I am proud to have completed landmark projects in the residential, commercial and education sectors including ExCeL London Exhibition and Conference Centre, and Pan Peninsula for Ballymore with Architects Skidmore Owings and Merrill, and DMWR.
