I studied what was then 'Building Technology' at Bath University which bought together Architects and Engineers for the first two years of study. I joined Hoare Lea in 1995 and became a Partner in 2008.

Within Hoare Lea, I am head of a specialist group and focus on providing post occupancy professional advice to clients on the operation and management of mechanical and electrical systems in buildings.

One of my career highlights was working on the Guinness brewery in Nigeria because it was the first project where I was in total charge of the mechanical services element.
