I joined Hoare Lea in 1980 following my degree in Building Services Engineering and have since seen the practice continually grow and expand its influence. I know much of other practices but have never seen a better place to be. I became a Partner in 1992 and am proud to be serving on Hoare Lea's Board dealing with International Working and our IT systems.

I recall early challenges, including a process system working with boiling caustic soda for BAe and designing the practice's first Ice Rink, I still enjoy a challenge. Above all I am proud of the many teams I have worked in and the permanent, visible, records we have built of their success.
