I graduated from South Bank University, London, with a degree in Environmental Engineering in 1990, after which I worked for several years in both client- and consultant-based employment. This experience allowed me to gain a good grounding in practical skills, which has proved useful in supplementing the design skills necessary to work as a consulting engineer.

Since joining Hoare Lea in 1996, I have worked on a range of projects in the commercial office, leisure, mixed-use, retail, schools, higher education and mission-critical data centre sectors. I thoroughly enjoy the interaction and variety of my job, from working on Integrated Systems Tests in live data centres to achieving low-energy buildings that meet or exceed the client’s aspirations.
