After graduating from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in 1996, I worked in consultant-based employment covering London and the Home Counties. This experience allowed me to gain a good grounding in both design and site based work which gave me a stepping stone for my future career.

I joined Hoare Lea’s London office in 1998 as I wanted to be a part of one of the top independently owned engineering practices within the UK. I have worked on a wide range of projects both UK based and overseas, including large-scale new build offices, fast track fit outs for the financial sector, residential led mixed-use schemes and student residences. I really enjoy the day-to-day challenge of working within our design teams to deliver workable and innovative project solutions. It’s very important to me that we continue to push the boundaries and stay at the forefront of technological and sector development.
