I've always been interested in renewable energy technologies and the built environment, so after a very inspiring interview, I joined Hoare Lea in 1987. I was then and continue to be impressed with the Firm's culture and work ethos.

My job primarily involves winning work, resource management, project managing and I m also food sector champion. One of the most interesting projects I've worked on was the Derriford Hospital Cardiac Centre where I was responsible for the entire services installation. This is a major centre for the SW although in the early days of my career, I equally enjoyed working as resident engineer at Jaguar cars in the Midlands.
