I started my building services career in South America before immigrating to the UK in 1985 where I completed an honours degree in energy engineering. I joined Hoare Lea because I wanted to work for a top private UK consultant who could offer exceptional career prospects.

I find every aspect of the industry challenging and I enjoy the diversity of the work involved. The highlight of my career has been the Bournemouth International Centre, Purbeck Hall opened by the then Prime Minister M Thatcher, which culminated with a letter from the client praising the performance of the Hoare Lea team.
