I joined Hoare Lea in 1986 as a graduate having studied Mechanical Engineering. I was interested in joining Hoare Lea as my Father, who was also an Engineer, worked in construction and had worked with Hoare Lea on a number of projects.

I have spent the whole of my career at Hoare Lea and have now progressed through the company to become a Partner of the Firm, which I hope shows determination and the ability to stick with things.

I enjoy the variety of projects and the interesting people that you meet in this field. One week you could be dealing with the brief for a new high tech science building and the next looking at a new building for Cheltenham Racecourse
