Major Project of the Year
Phase 1 of the BP Sunbry Redevelopment Project has been awarded winner - Major Project of the Year in the Construction News - Quality in Construction Awards 2002.
The Major Project of the Year is awarded in recognition of outstanding team effort on a UK construction project valued in excess of £50M.
BP's focus on health and safety at all stages achieved a site safety record five times better than construction good practice benchmarks. A task team process was also used to minimise duplicated effort.
