Nick Cullen, Research and Development Partner, Hoare Lea, has been appointed to the Building Regulations Advisory Committee (BRAC) for a second three-year term.
BRAC is one of two statutory committees in the UK. BRAC’s role is to give independent expert advice and views to the Secretaries of State and other Ministers on matters related to Building Regulations. Nick has served on Working Parties for Part F and Part L 2010.
BRAC is made up of a diverse group of people representing the entire construction and property supply chain. It includes representatives from the Construction Products Association and the House Building Federation, as well as architects, engineers and building control. It meets at least four times a year and has ad hoc working groups to review the various Parts of the Building Regulations.
