A new, interactive website has been launched for Hoare Lea’s Lighting group. The site is designed to showcase the most up-to-date information on the group and includes their newest and most innovative projects.
The website offers a new visual interface with an emphasis on good quality project images and quick and clear navigation. Visitors to the site can also discover more about the group’s services, latest news (by viewing their interactive blog) and they can play on the LightSIM applications.
The LightSIMs (accessible under the ‘Projects’ section) are a unique lighting tool developed by the CGI team to visually convey the lighting intent for many types of spaces. In some of these, the relationship between lighting and energy is explored with a ‘real-time’ energy bar, which relates to the lighting used. Interactive buttons can be clicked on the LightSIMs to change the lighting scenes and even introduce colour.
