Hoare Lea’s London office has recently secured new premises at the new King’s Cross development in Central London.
The London office move is planned for late 2012, with the 22,000 sq ft Western Transit Shed offering a superb, modern and spacious working environment for what will be the firm’s flagship office.
We are currently working closely with the developer, Argent, on details of the design for the new building, ensuring that our 165 staff can maximise all of the possible benefits of the move.
The Western Transit Shed combines a mix of both contemporary design and heritage, so it is fitting that the move will take place during the year in which Hoare Lea celebrates its 150th anniversary.
Initial construction work has already started on the building and is scheduled to be completed in time for the move at the end of 2012.
Speaking on the move, Miles Freeman, Managing Partner, London office, said:
“King’s Cross met all of the aspirations we set at the start of our search for new premises, especially in terms of quality of design and commitment to sustainability, both of which are extremely important to us at Hoare Lea. King’s Cross is a superb development, with a well-developed sense of place, in a central, incredibly well connected location.”
