Hoare Lea announces the opening of a permanent office in Qatar. The office is located next to Doha International Airport at Al Sharif Tower, Al Mana Intersection, Doha.
Hoare Lea Qatar LLC is a Class A registered firm of mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) consulting engineers. Class A is the highest level of engineering licence awarded to consulting engineers in Qatar and allows Hoare Lea to undertake projects of any scale.
The firm has been working across the region since 2008 and the team, resident in Qatar, has a thorough understanding of the regional and local culture and methods of working, including the Qatar Building Design Control process.
In addition to MEP services, Hoare Lea has specialists to support every aspect of the building environmental brief and can offer sustainability advice within the frameworks of LEED, BREEAM, Estidama and the Qatar Sustainability Assessment System (QSAS).
Current projects include the design of the MEP systems and specialist services for the Sidra Medical and Research Center, a world-class facility located in Doha on Qatar Foundation's 2,500 acre Education City campus.
