Hoare Lea Appoints new Partners - Justin Spencer and Peter Wells

Hoare Lea announces that Justin Spencer and Peter Wells have accepted invitations to join the partnership.

Justin Spencer

Justin Spencer (BSc Hons, CEng, MCIBSE, MASHRAE) joined Hoare Lea's Bristol office in 1993 as a graduate engineer, having completed a degree in Building and Environmental Services Engineering at the University of Bath. He now has more than 15 years' experience in the field of environmental engineering building design.

Justin has worked on a variety of projects in the commercial office, leisure, mixed-use, retail, schools and higher education sectors. Most recently he has successfully delivered projects for the universities of Southampton, Newcastle, Warwick, West of England and Oxford.

Justin is based at Hoare Lea's Bristol office, where he runs a multi-disciplinary project team. He sits on Hoare Lea's Education Steering Group as the Higher Education Sector Champion and is responsible for co-ordinating the Firm's activities in this key market. He has also been responsible for developing the Engineering Visualisation Group within Hoare Lea.

Peter Wells

Peter Wells (BSc Hons, CEng, MIET) joined Hoare Lea's Cardiff office in 1988 as a senior engineer, having completed a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Aston in Birmingham.

Peter has 20 years' experience in electrical building services design and has been responsible for the delivery of projects in the sports and leisure, infrastructure, telecommunications and healthcare sectors. He is currently the main Hoare Lea contact for the delivery of the NHS Wales 'Designed for Life: Building for Wales' programme and under this framework is responsible for Hoare Lea's major Welsh healthcare projects.

Peter will continue to operate from Hoare Lea's Cardiff office, where he runs a multi-disciplinary project team. Peter also sits on Hoare Lea's Healthcare Group and is a regular contributor to the Firm's Technical Development and Control Group and Professional Development Group.
