Michelmores and Western Morning News Commercial Property Awards
Two Hoare Lea Plymouth projects have won awards at the Michelmores and Western Morning News Commercial Property Awards. The University of Exeter’s INTO Centre won the ‘Building of the Year’ award and the Performance Centre at the Combined Universities of Cornwall won the ‘Eco Building of the Year‘ award.
The flagship £13 million INTO Centre comprises 500 student bedrooms that include ‘Feng Shui’ design and a new teaching block. Hoare Lea carried out MEP design and acoustics consulting on the project.
The Performance Centre in Tremough offers exceptional facilities, purpose-built for students’ specific needs with the very latest equipment and as well as providing MEP design services, fire engineering were also on the team to offer their expertise.
