I studied Building Services Engineering at the University of Northumbria. On completion of my degree I worked for a manufacturer as a lighting designer before joining Hoare Lea Lighting.
As part of Hoare Lea, Hoare Lea Lighting has a great advantage because of the Partners commitment to innovation and to leading the pack. This provides a supportive network that encourages individuals and teams to evolve.
Moving from the London to the Leeds office enabled me to progress as an individual and also as a lighting designer. We now have a team in Leeds that is expanding to provide greater market coverage.
I have a particular passion for external, public realm and façade lighting and as part of my professional development recently completed a Masters Degree in Urban Environmental Design that Hoare Lea supported. This provided an opportunity to meet architects, planners and urban designers and to promote lighting within urban design forums.
